PLANET (Professional Landscape
Network) Student Carrier Days is a three day event of networking and competing
in various landscape events. Every year the location of the event changes which
gives the students a chance to see the different parts of the countries and
compete in various landscapes. This event also has a carrier fair where
students can set up possible jobs and internships.
In 2013 PLANET was help at Auburn University
in Auburn, Alabama. Over 800 students from various universities participated in
the 28 different events. Iowa State took 12 students last year.
This year PLANET will be held at
Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado from March 20th-23rd.
